We've got one pick from the Wimbledon semi-finals today, and honestly, it's a tough one to get too excited about on paper. Fery's run to this stage has been a brilliant story, but Zverev is a completely different problem.
Wimbledon Predictions
Arthur Fery vs Alexander Zverev
Head-to-head: First meeting
Fery is ranked 114th in the world and playing on a wildcard, and the fact that he's made a Grand Slam semi-final at all is genuinely impressive. But Zverev is the third best player on the planet right now, and grass is a surface, arguably his most underrated, that suits his big serve and flat groundstrokes more than most people give him credit for. Hard to see there being any tactical angle that really helps Fery here.
Zverev wins this, and I'd be surprised if it goes four sets. The gap in big-match experience alone is enormous and Fery hasn't faced anything close to this level throughout his run. A great story, but it ends here.
Prediction: Zverev in 3
