Flavio Cobolli vs Zachary Svajda
Head-to-head: Cobolli 1-0 Svajda
Cobolli has had a genuinely impressive season, cracking the top 15 and showing he belongs at this level on clay. Svajda is a decent player but ranked 85th for a reason, and a clay Masters fourth round against a guy 70 spots above him is a tough ask.
Cobolli wins this comfortably.

Juan Manuel Cerundolo vs Matteo Berrettini
Head-to-head: First meeting
Berrettini on clay is always a name to respect, and at his best he's a genuine threat on this surface, but he's ranked 105th right now for a reason and hasn't strung together consistent results in a long time. Cerundolo is the higher-ranked and better-form player here and on clay he's tough to break down with how well he constructs points from the baseline.
That said, Berrettini's serve and forehand can flip a set quickly, so I feel like this one goes three before Cerundolo closes it out.

Frances Tiafoe vs Matteo Arnaldi
Head-to-head: Tiafoe 1-1 Arnaldi
Arnaldi is ranked 457th, which tells you everything you need to know about where his season has gone. Tiafoe is far from the most consistent player on clay, but he doesn't need to be here. The H2H is level but the ranking gap is enormous, and hard to see Arnaldi being in any shape to threaten him right now.
Tiafoe moves through in two, all things considered.
