The French Open women's final is here, and what a run it's been from both players to get to this point. We've got our prediction for the big one.

Maja Chwalinska vs Mirra Andreeva
Head-to-head: First meeting
Chwalinska reaching a Grand Slam final at 114 in the world is one of those stories that reminds you why tournament tennis is special. But Andreeva is one of the best clay-court players in the world right now and she's been building toward a moment like this for a couple of years. At 17, she's already capable of staying ice-cold in the biggest moments, and slow Roland Garros clay is probably her best surface.
Chwalinska deserves enormous credit for getting here, and she won't be overawed, but the gap in class is real. That said, Andreeva's ability to control rallies from the baseline without ever panicking is going to be a serious problem for a player who hasn't faced this level consistently and I think this one ends fairly quickly.
Prediction: Andreeva in 2
