A split series makes this interesting on paper, but Kudermetova is the higher-ranked player and has been the more consistent presence on tour recently, which counts for a lot in a final between two players outside the top 100 fighting for a title. Ferro hasn't been a regular fixture at this level for a while and making a final at a clay event is genuinely a strong week for her.
That said, clay is a surface where Ferro has always been comfortable, and a final suggests she's been hitting the ball well all week. I think Kudermetova's ranking advantage and overall level see her through, all things considered, but don't be surprised if Ferro takes this to a third set and makes it a real match.
