That one previous meeting went Bejlek's way and she's been playing some genuinely consistent tennis lately. Tauson has the bigger game on paper, but she can be streaky and when things aren't clicking she tends to give matches away rather than lose them. On a hard court in the heat, that inconsistency becomes a real problem.
Bejlek's ranking has climbed steadily this year and she doesn't get rattled easily. I think she handles the conditions better and finds a way to close it out in three.

Alycia Parks vs Maria Sakkari

This H2H is a real problem for Sakkari. Two losses to a player ranked 37 spots below her isn't a fluke, it's a pattern, and Parks' heavy ball and flat groundstrokes seem to genuinely give her trouble. That said, Sakkari is the more complete player and she knows how to win tight matches on hard courts better than almost anyone on tour.
Parks is dangerous here and the H2H says don't sleep on her, but Sakkari should still find a way to get through here. Third set, probably.

She's been working her way back and her ball-striking, which remains genuinely elite when she's moving well, is still among the best on tour. The H2H shows she's beaten Krejcikova twice, so this isn't a simple chalk pick. Krejcikova's game can look fragile when she's being pushed around the court, and Zheng has the firepower to do exactly that.
Still, Krejcikova's variety and net presence should create enough problems on a fast hard court, and she's the one with more left in the tank ranking-wise. To make things worse for Zheng, Krejcikova wins this, but it'll be close.
